Emmy's cat, Shasta, visits with Erin Hunter in Memphis. Shasta survived the tornado that took Emmy's life. Shasta was badly injured in the storm. Her back leg was amputated by local veterinarian, Dr. Hamm. Shasta was later adopted by Emmy's best friend, Harley.
