HOW YOU CAN HELP YOUR CLAN
Hi everyone! It’s really good to have a chance to talk to you and share all the plans for Warriors Day. It’s going to be great! Sadly I can’t be there, but I will be thinking about you and I know that all of you will have an awesome time.
But even if you’re not able to attend Warriors Day, you are still a member of WarriorClan, just as Vicky says. Here are some more ideas for things you might do to help out and give your Clanmates a bit of the joy that we get from Warriors.
Buy plain cookies at the store and ice them. Maybe you could make cat faces, or the Clan symbols from the Warriors books and the website. You could sell them to raise money for a good cause, or give them to your kits and elders to brighten their day.
Write a Warriors poem, illustrate it and frame it for a birthday or holiday gift.
Ask your mentors at school if you can organise a bring-and-buy book sale. The money you raise will buy new books for your school library.
Make or buy glove puppets and put on a Warriors puppet play – you could use the play on the Warriors website, or write your own. Invite your Clanmates to watch it.
If there’s a cat rescue centre in your neighbourhood, collect cat toys, cat beds and blankets for the lost kittypets there. (Remember to ask first what they need.)
Buy a packet of seeds and grow small plants in pots – empty yogurt pots are good for starting them off. When they get to a reasonable size, they make good gifts. Elders especially often like a plant to look after.
